University of San Francisco, founded in 1855, is a private, Jesuit Catholic University. Programs are offered through the Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Professional Studies, the McLaren College of Business, and the Schools of Education, Law, and Nursing. The 55-acre campus is located in San Francisco, three miles from downtown. An education at USF is founded on the academic rigor built on the foudation of the 450-year-old Jesuit tradition, our location in San Francisco, our global perspective, and our rich diversity among all of the members of the University community.
