Midwestern State University (MSU) offers the individual attention of a private education at the affordability of a public university. Located in Wichita Falls, Texas, MSU is equidistant between Oklahoma City and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. MSU’s 6,000 students enjoy the 255-acre campus, nestled among the city’s residential area, and an outdoor recreational facility on Sikes Lake. Red-brick buildings and sculpted archways give the campus a collegiate feel. Five residence halls and three apartment complexes provide on-campus housing for students. Those attending MSU choose from more than 60 majors and several pre-professional programs, and learning activities beyond the classroom link MSU students to careers beyond graduation. Why are we proud of MSU? A few reasons: •Small class sizes and a student-to-faculty ratio of 18 to 1. •Students choose from 45 undergraduate majors and 28 graduate programs. •MSU students represent 41 states and 47 foreign countries. •Study Abroad programs offered in Spain, England, and France. •Students are active in more than 100 student organizations. •MSU competes in 13 NCAA Division II athletic programs. •The only Texas university to become a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC). •Although a public liberal arts university with strong programs in the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences, MSU has accredited professional programs in mechanical engineering, social work, nursing, radiologic science, respiratory care, athletic training, and business, among others.
