Environmental Studies

The Breakdown

Undergraduate programs in environmental studies focus on environment-related issues using a combination of scientific, social scientific and humanistic approaches. Programs are interdisciplinary in nature, combining topics from the humanities, social and natural sciences. Students will learn the basic principles of ecology and environmental science as well as policy, politics, economics, sustainability, planning and natural resources.  They’ll focus on the interactions of human beings and nature. In addition, students will develop and hone skills in writing, critical thinking, quantitative analysis, project management, and social science research.
