St. Olaf College is a nationally ranked liberal arts college located in a small town: Northfield, MN. With two thirds of students choosing to study abroad, an emphasis on interdisciplinary studies, and a tight-knit residential campus with small class sizes, St. Olaf doesn’t produce ordinary college grads. It turns out Oles (Oh-Lees). Oles are born of St. Olaf’s strong academic program: one that hones minds from arts and music to math and science, while its emphasis on global engagement helps broaden perspectives. Oles come from diverse religious, cultural, and geographical backgrounds encouraging deep self-reflection and fascinating conversations. Most important, perhaps, is the Ole community itself — a vibrant community that fosters lifelong friendships and invaluable Business Connections. From the Taylor Center for Equity and Inclusion to the Piper Center for Vocation and Career, students are motivated to become idealistic, flexible, and tireless problem solvers. Oles are the people that companies want and the planet needs.
