Description
Annual award for full-time postgraduate students currently enrolled in an accredited college/university in the United States and working toward a master's degree in electrical, computer, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or information management systems. Primary consideration will be given for demonstrated academic excellence. At least one scholarship will be available to a woman or minority candidate if all eligibility criteria are met. Applicant must indicate the AFCEA Professional Development Center course desired and preferred dates of attendance. Funding will be disbursed directly to the AFCEA Professional Development Center as payment for course registration. Distance Learning Programs or On-Line Courses will NOT qualify. Annual award for a young professional (age 35 or under) seeking Technical Certification (including any Cisco Certifications; Microsoft Certifications; Novell, Java, or A+ Certification; or a course leading to the certification; laboratory course or the certification test). Proof of registration, containing dates of course or date when you registered, must be submitted. Candidate must be already employed in a field related to communications, computer science or electronics. Submit one letter of recommendation by Certification Program Administrator or Teacher, and if any other certification courses have already been completed with application. Number of awards varies.

Description
Annual award for employees of the rubber industry to further their education in Polymer Technology. Each Rubber Group can submit the name of one person to be considered for this award. Recipients are not required to be members of the Rubber Division nor are they required to be members of your local rubber group. Selection is based on length of employment in the rubber industry with current employer, academic achievement, strength of recommendation letters received from supporting rubber group, and relationship of courses being taken to student's job function. Number of awards and award amount varies. Submit six copies of application packet.
